Recommended Print Setting for the Silk PLA Filament

3Dgenius PLA 3d printer filament is neat on the roll and leaves the spool easily without any crossed turns. Rainbow PLA filament with high dimensional accuracy tolerance of + / – 0.02 mm which makes the fusion between the layers very good to obtain an even better bridging result. It will resist warping and produce the cleanest, least stringing prints with glossiest finish. 3Dgenius PLA filament 1.75mm will meet your demands for printing freely. The silk PLA filament is 250/0.55lbs. The rainbow silk PLA completely dried for 24 hours before packaging and then vacuum sealed with desiccants. The vaccum package protects the filament from moisture and makes the PLA 3D printing filament no clogging and no bubble when printing.

Tips

1. The rainbow PLA filament is color changing gradient filament around 10m-12m change and is excellent for larger prints to show all colors.

2. If you want the silk effect of the printed model to be better, taking the Bambu P1P as an example, it is recommended to set the printing temperature to 230℃ and the printing speed to silent mode/50%.

3. In order to effectively protect the filament from moisture, our 3d printer filament features 100% vacuumed package. Due to the influence of vacuum pressure and transportation, some filament rolls may experience slight deformation.

4. After printing is completed, please fix the filament end at the spool hole to make sure the filament won’t loose at any time. This will help you to solve the problem of tangles when printing.

5. In order to make the filament stick to the build bed easily, please set the temperature(bed and nozzle) suitable. And the printing speed of the first layer couldn’t be so fast. Or some PVA glue is recommended to apply if the plate surface has been used for a long time.
