Braskem recently expanded its 3D printing product portfolio with a new, innovative carbon fiber reinforced polypropylene filament for 3D printing (“CF-PP”) (“FL900PP-CF”). This product is made from 100% recycled carbon fibers from Vartega and is optimized for use with Polypropylene from Braskem. Every pack of Braskem Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene Filament sold contains information on how the used carbon fiber filament is recycled through this program. Every year 24,000 tons of carbon fiber waste are sent to landfills.
