AzureFilm Wood Filament is manufactured in three types: PINE, BAMBOO, and CORK. 3D filament combines 40% of recycled wood and 60% of polymers. The polymer is combined using premium PLA material (Polylactic Acid), which boasts complete biodegradation and lower melting temperature. It does not need a heated bed, is eco-friendly and safe, and will smell like real wood during and after the printing. Our wood filament can be printed with ease and there is no extra hardened nozzle needed, the regular one works just fine.
Our wood filament is perfectly printed using almost all 3D printers, including RepRap and MakerBot printers, Ultimaker 3D printer, BCN3D, Airwolf3D, Makergear, Printrbot, IRA3D, Creality, Prusa 3d, Anycubic and many more.

– The thickness of the Wood PLA filament is 1.75mm with high roundness accuracy of +/-0.02mm tested with a precise laser measurement tool.
For good results, you must print at a temperature of 200-230 ° C and the printing table should be heated to 50-60 ° C. Wood filament has small pieces inside so when printing with 0.4mm nozzle we prefer little bit higher temperature (230 ° C). You will get the best resaults with 0.5mm nozzle or bigger. Keep in mind that every material and every 3D Printer is unique, and may require a slightly higher or lower temperature. If you are going to leave your printer inactive for more than a couple of days, please retract the filament to protect your printer nozzle. To extend the lifetime of your filaments we recommend storing them in dry sealed bags or other airtight containers, with the silica gel packs tucked inside. That way your filaments will last longer and still print flawlessly.
